Reds I love
Last year we never found a perfect wreath for our door, and ended up using a bunch of winter wheat as our door decor.
This year, though I think I've found THE prettiest wreath to adorn our door. I'm sure your wreath is pretty. I'm sure ours is prettier. Behold the beautiful apples and cherries and pomegranates! Covered in sparkles! I love it!
The other red comes in a wine bottle. I've been enjoying a glass of it every night this week.
Goats do roam is a cleverly named South African red wine, a take on the Côtes-du-Rhône style wines in France. It's available in Ontario at the LCBO (pronounced Lick-Bo in our house) in the vintages section for a mere $12.95. Worth buying a couple of bottles in my opinion. It's a shiraz blend, very fruity tones, dry (but not too dry) and fruity with a hint of oak. Even nicer to enjoy now that we have wine glasses that aren't made plastic with fish in the stems.

Oh, man...when I was in Ontario with a bunch of fellow geology students back in college, there was much love given to LCBO. MUCH love. ;)
That's a very pretty wreath!
Love that wreath. Great selection.
Goats do Rome is our favourite wine as well! The 13 dollar bottle from the LICK-BO "vintages" is the best deal going - for that reason I must admit that we drink way too much of it!
Did you make that? It's gorgeous.
Also, I miss wine. A lot.
LONG LIVE THE LICK-BO!
I've always called it that. God, we're cool, aren't we? ;)
Thanks for the reco. I'm always looking for inexpensive wines. Another good South African red is Ubuntu (and even cheaper!)
Love the wreath! We just moved into that new building and aren't sure if we're "allowed" to decorate our doors. Stupid condo bylaws. Since no one else's door is decorated, we don't know if it's against the rules or if we just live in a building full of LOSERS. History will decide!
What a lovely wreath!
The wine sounds great. I'll go look for it!
veolcibadgergirl: We all love the lick-bo.
lori anne haskell: Thanks!
chantal: Homesense!
Melissa: you obviously have great taste!
TB: If I lied would you believe me? We bought it. Wasn't realizing I'd end up torturing the pregnant lady when I wrote it. Soon!
mamatulip: So unbelievably cool.
metromama: I'll put that on my shopping list for the next time brave the crowds.
roro: I say you Ontario chickies do the door up all garish-like and make 'em all blush.
teena: Thanks!
That wreath is stunning ... so is the wine :)
I love red!
That looks great! Are they plastic? Or the real thing?
sunshine scribe: Me too!
Ballpoint Wren: 100% fake.
