The dogs love sleeping next to each other - sleeps like this are occasionally interrupted by the occasional dream with them growling at each other (I presume), and seconds later, after some big sighs, they fall asleep again as though it never happened.

Oh, I love it!
What memories this brings back.
That's so sweet! They're touching paws. Sigh. There's something so calming about a sleeping dog, doubly so with two sleeping dogs.
Adorable! Goodness, they're fluffy, too. :)
Ha - when the cats sleep like this, we call it synchro cats.
ballpoint wren: They're such a rarely seen breed I'm surprised
Mrs. Chicky: Just don't get too calm because it's quickly shattered by them barking in their dreams.
velocibadgergirl: Even fluffier when they're not desperately in need of a bath.
Kittenpie: our cats only snuggle up when they think no one's watching - funny enough we've called them synchro dogs too.
luck o' the irish: Ours are brothers, if we made them sleep in separate rooms there'd be a riot. They run full speed shoulder to shoulder and synchro sleep all the time.
That's just tooooo cute!!!!
That is adorable! They are adorable! Are they trying to spell out something with their bodies?
Teena: thanks!
Rhea: Borzoi aren't known for their, well, cognitive abilities, so I doubt any alphabetical resemblance was intended but I see your point. If they could spell it'd be simple things like "park" and "kibble." Thanks for stopping by
That picture is so adorable.
beautiful pets. too bad the borzoi weren't more umm intelligent. remind me of my friend's einstein afghans, lol.
never heard oshawa called the 'shwa. cute. greetings from the other "country" within our country.

Nancy: thanks!
Burekaboy: Hah yeah. My husband read out the breed standard last night and apparently they're noted for being "useless watchdogs." I like to think they're smarter than afghans, though.
anonymous from Japan: Your borzoi is beautiful! Our guys LOVE chewing rawhides.
