Saturday dinner in the 'shwa

We had dinner plans that got changed, but had the ingredients already bought so we decided to make it for dinner anyway. I'm a bit of a crazy cook, never measure things, and usually just make things up as I go along.

I saw some heirloom tomatoes at the grocery store the other week, and decided to make a pasta dish involving them, basil mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, brown button mushrooms, pesto, white wine and feta. This was the result, and I have to say in all immodesty it was good! Since we were originally cooking for four, there are TONS of leftovers. Lunches every day this week are totally going to rock.

daysgoby: It was even better today at lunch - all the veggies sunk to the bottom.
