De-lurk, don't shirk
As per usual, I'm a wee bit late to the party, but given my innate curiosity (read snoopiness, prying nature, busy-bodyism, and nosiness) I was checking my piddley little sitemeter and thought to myself I should ask people to de-lurk, since evidently this is national de-lurking week and there are always more people stopping by than leaving comments. (maybe it's me?)
So, if you're stopping by, leave me a note. Pretty please. Maybe you'll want to tell me what you'd have as your last meal here on earth (me? probably some Thai food feast), or something less morbid like what the weather was like chez vous today (winter's finally arrived, we have a dusting of snow, but sunny). I'm always curious as to who stops by, and would love to find more blogs/cool reads. No blog? That's okay, leave a note anyway.
Feed my both pathetic and none-too serious curiosity, won't you? (Yes. you!)
*wicked cool graphic above yoinked with thanks from here

Last meal? Deep fried cauliflower.
Don't ask.
Hey! I don't generally lurk but I do skulk occasionally. I didn't know it was National De-Lurking Week again. I need to stay more on top of these trends!!
Suddenly bone-chilling cold, and still no snow!
I've commented before, but I'm Jess, up North and West of you.
I'd eat french fries with gravy for my last meal on earth. It would be the one day I wouldn't feel guilty about eating it.
Found you through Daysgoby.
I would have standing rib roast, medium rare, with Yorkshire pudding and cheesecake with cherry topping.
Love the blog.
I use your blog to keep track of your movements in hopes of running into you and stealing your dogs.
Glad you asked? ;)
BOO! Hey we found a brand new Gucci wallet in all the stuff too
Hiya! Last meal would involve copious amounts of ice cream and maybe cheesecake.
Possibly some chicken beforehand.
HBM - that sounds delishy. Roasted is one of my fave things, and along with sauteed parsnips, rare steak, and creme brulee would make me happy to drift into oblivion.
And it's rainy, grey, chilly... blech, but not snowy.
her bad mother: Sounds oddly good- I'll have to try it!
roro: Your comments always make me laugh, so I'm glad you don't lurk!
daysgoby: Hi Jess! No snow really sucks doesn't it. Apparently the West is getting all of it this year and those of us in the East are getting the shaft. :(
leslie: Sounds good!
shinny: Thanks for stopping by! I'm with you with the cherry cheesecake, but will leave the rib roast and yorkshire pudding to you.
Anonymous: eek! Not glad! :)
phoenix: Boo to you!
Velocibadgergirl: Ooohice cream and cheesecake... come to think of it I'd like that for dessert (along with mango sticky rice) too
kittenpie: Yeah I definitely think she has a point! The dusting of snow we had here has faded away to nothing. :(
If it was gonna be my last meal I'd go out all classy and get a super sized Big Mac combo, with coke.
Aw, yeah.
I came across this blog while googling. I was held captive in 'Shwa for 8 days recently and was looking for some blogs. I was safely returned to Mississauga, however I enjoy reading your blog.
That's my story.
mamatulip: I think classy in that instance is spelled with a "K."
rachel: Captive! Oh no! Not sure anyone is safe in MisterSaga but appreciate you stopping by!
You know who this is, i comented on the phone that I read your blog all the time because it is excellent to look at someone elses point of view.. not to comment too often or even at all....but because it is that de-lurk thing i thought i would actually say something instead of enjoying it silently at any time of the day or night......
OOPS..forgot about the last meal thingy....rare prime rib about an inch thick with mashed roasted potatoes and for veggies it would be cauliflower and broccoli...and for desert it would be butterscotch ripple ice cream(about half gallon) with fruit salad on top...topped with real whipped cream....oh help me i would die of an overdose of cholesterol and ecstacy.......
butter chicken with basmati rice and moist carrot cake with cream cheese icing for dessert... actually I'd probably prefer an Indian buffet so I could get the butter chicken AND some aloo gobi and mixed veg curries... and dahl.
(Jeez, now it's very nearly like our wedding dinner... I guess that's a good thing)
Cinnamon gurl: Indian food would totally be my second choice. I make wicked muttar paneer, up to and including the cheese. I love Dhal!
Ooh, wanna share your recipe? That's one curry we haven't attempted at home...
I am so pathetic... I didnotevenknow about Delurking until the week past...
Last meal?
My homemade lasgna,,,(I am not much of a breakfast person)
cinnamon gurl: will email recipe when I find it, but it was fairly easy. making paneer you just get homo milk, bring it to a boil, add lemon juice (and I put coriander in it too often cause i love that stuff), it'll curdle. Then you just line a colander or sieve with cheesecloth and press it into blocks, and throw it into the fridge. Easy cheezy!
Pendullum: Pathetic? I had no idea until I came across it on someone else's site and thought I'd give it a try. Lasagne is one of my favourites for sure.
Well, you know me, I'm not a lurker, but thought I'd say hello and um, welcome back? all the same. Last meal? Gad, I don't know. The inability to decide that alone might be what keeps me from killing someone at work this summer...
