News of the Weird
I've come across a few things I've come across lately that I thought were worth sharing:
- I think this is definitely cool in a very geeky sort of way. If they can make an invisible cloak in 18 months I wonder when they'll be available to the public and all the cool (and, cause my job makes me a cynic) and criminal things they'll be used to do.
- I wonder if this glue would come apart with antibacterial soap or antibiotics? Who tested it to figure out a dab the size of a quarter could hold up an elephant?
- Dun, dun dun! here comes the bird flu! I won't lie, I'm afraid.
- Apparently Moses wasn't the only one who saw burning bushes. This company has a laser used to prune bushes. I'm guessing this is how the Jetsons prune their bushes.
